Become a Special Educational Needs Champion and support children, young people, and families across Gateshead to navigate the SEND system with confidence. In this rewarding volunteer role, you will promote SENDIASS and its services at events, provide impartial information at coffee mornings, support the completion of EHCPs and statutory assessment paperwork, liaise with professionals, and offer emotional support. A minimum six-month commitment is required.
